I don’t like relying on the time of day to tell me when I should be productive, because having a strict schedule inhibits my ability to think ‘outside the box’ and be creative with my work — writing.
Most of us are told to stay persistent if we want to achieve our dreams. We’re advised by successful people, like Gary Vaynerchuk, to “do the right thing and put in the fucking work!”
It’s easier than you think.
As a writer, I get asked a lot of questions about how to grow on Medium. I try to answer each one thoroughly, expanding on things that have worked for me.
But occasionally, I get really frustrated.
The other day, I wrote about how, because of my parent’s excessive love and care, I lacked the experience required to take care of myself after college. After writing it, someone emailed me and asked:
