Dear Tiffany,

Sometimes when you’re riding through the stormy waves of life, you’ll forget about the bigger picture — where you want to be and whom you want to be with in the future — because you’ll be distracted by all the itty-bitty problems that’ll seem to conspire against you.

The old creaky moped you ride, those cheap-looking clothes you no longer like, the fact that you spend half your day writing a piece but not finishing — all of these things, despite how small they are, will eventually break you down if you let them.

And let me tell you, it’s not going to stop. Ever.

Life, no matter what you think, will always get harder because…that’s how life has always been. It’s unpredictable. It’s grueling. It’s tough as shit.

That’s why you constantly need to ask yourself, what are you fighting for? Why did you even choose this path to begin with?

When you think about the answers and take another look at the bigger picture, suddenly all the problems you’d been complaining about seem so small and silly. That it makes you wonder why you’d even brought it up when you could’ve used that time for greater and more meaningful purposes.

But that’s okay, at least you’re working on it. And at least that’s a step forward than a step back.

Just remember, I’m there for you when you’re feeling off-track in life. Keep your head up.

With much ❤️,
Tiffany

P.S. I know how much you love quotes so I found this one for you by Anthony J. D’Angelo: “If you have time to whine and complain about something then you have the time to do something about it.”
