I scroll through my never-ending to-do list and sigh.
I’ve been unproductive the whole day, and I thought writing a letter to myself would at least make me feel better but it hasn’t. It just made me feel worse, because it reminded me of all the progress I’ve made in the past compared to today.
But then I realized: Work will never truly end.
No matter who you are or what you do, there’ll always be things you have to do every.single.day. Even if you finish everything on your list, there’s still things you should do and things you need to do later.
That’s why I’ve come to accept these unproductive days as a well-deserved break from work. I mean, what else could you do if you’re not in the work mood?
